Poor Experience with Safety and Customer Service
Multiple reviewers had negative experiences with Personal Touch Landscaping, citing concerns about safety and poor customer service. One reviewer, Scott Dippity, reported a harrowing experience where a company truck nearly slammed into him while running a red light. Another reviewer, Barb, mentioned that the owner threatened her with lawyers and lawsuits when she had a problem with the company.
Initial Promises Not Fulfilled
Some reviewers were initially pleased with the company's work, but experienced a decline in quality over time. Scott Wolf mentioned that his lawn looked great initially, but the quality of service decreased after the technician responsible for his yard left the company. Kacey Rice also reported that the company over-treated her lawn, burning the grass, and was unprofessional when she tried to cancel the service.
Positive Experiences
On the other hand, some reviewers had positive experiences with Personal Touch Landscaping. T. Y. reported that the company's fertilization and weed control services improved the appearance of their lawn significantly. Marshall Walsdorf and Stacy Becker also reported positive experiences with the company's bug control and lawn fertilizer services. Kai Shanks had a very positive experience with the company, praising their work on weeding, sod installation, and sprinkler maintenance.
Issues with Additional Services
Some reviewers had issues with additional services offered by the company. Bob Miller was unhappy with the company's hurricane shutter installation service, citing high costs and poor communication. Urs Winzenried reported that the company did a poor job of caring for plants and used excessive chemicals. John Harris and Con Burk also reported poor quality of work and damage to their property.
