Our Beginnings

Our journey began with Doug Monsein, founder of Douglas Construction Group, who spent his post-college years working on construction job sites, falling in love with the process of building homes. After building over 300 homes for a regional builder, Doug left construction to apply his education to running his family business. In 1999, he returned to his passion and started Douglas Construction Group, blending his business skills with his knowledge of construction.
