Our History
Our journey began in 1990 when Carlos and Teri Martinez, along with her father, Tom Petrosine, founded Triforce Construction Inc. After ten years in the gunite swimming pool industry, they decided to venture into shotcrete construction. Sadly, Tom passed away in 2012, but his legacy lives on through the company. Today, his grandsons, Charlie and Joseph, are part of the team, continuing the family's tradition of excellence in the shotcrete business.
What is Shotcrete?
Shotcrete is a type of concrete that is conveyed through a hose and pneumatically projected at high velocity. It differs from ordinary concrete in the process of conveying, not in the composition. A shotcrete mix is a low slump mix that has the ability to be stacked vertically without the use of double-sided forms. This requires a very skilled nozzleman to properly encapsulate the rebar in concrete. Our nozzlemen are all certified by the American Shotcrete Association and are highly competent in their craft.
