Our founder, Dennis Thompson, is a native Californian and a graduate of architecture schools at Princeton and UC Berkeley. With a diverse career spanning multiple decades, Dennis has designed homes, multi-family housing, and institutional projects in Santa Barbara. His focus shifted to single-family residential design, including remodels, additions, and new homes. Dennis has been a leader in the region's environmental design movement since the 1970s and was elevated to Fellowship in the American Institute of Architects in 2017 for his dedicated leadership in creating a more sustainable future.
