Platinum Remodeling and Handyman Services was founded in February of 2005 by Josh Shonkwiler, with a vision to merge his family's background of large construction projects and custom home building with the smaller and more service-oriented handyman services that homeowners need on a more frequent basis. The company has grown over the years, but the core types of business and principles remain the same.

Our purpose is to create comfort and function for our clients in their homes in a professional manner. We take pride in a job well done, are eager to learn and grow, work well with others, are friendly and honest, and ensure our customers feel comfortable having us in their homes. We have grown to include designers and a licensed architect, but still offer handyman services to our clients. We pride ourselves on being one of the top 500 largest remodeling companies in the nation, able to complete large-scale projects while maintaining our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Hourly Services

For smaller and specialty projects, our experienced craftsman who work on our larger remodels, are also available through our hourly handyman services. Note: Our Handyman Services are billed per an hourly rate and no formal estimate is provided. For all major projects we would recommend getting a formal estimate.
