Our Knowledge and Education

At Tile Guys LLC, we pride ourselves on our knowledge and continuous education. We attend Schluter workshops to keep up to date on all of their products, and we are nationally certified by the CTEF (Ceramic Tile Education Foundation). We can be found in the TCNA (Tile Council of North America) handbook, and we strive to provide our clients with the most up-to-date and innovative products and services available.

Our History

Tile Guys LLC was founded by Mr. McCutcheon, who was born and raised in a small town north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He grew up in the shadows of backhoes and rooflines, and at the age of 16, he started his own career working for Ranier Devido Stone and Marble Company in New Castle, Pennsylvania. While working with granite, marble, and limestone, his interest in natural stone was piqued. The architectural drafting and layout techniques he learned formed the foundation for him to create and build. At the age of 23, he began to work for his brother-in-law, drafting new homes. While his construction company would build the homes, he would create and layout the designs.

In 1991, Mr. McCutcheon moved to Virginia's Eastern Shore and began working for a local tile and marble company. In 2003, he decided to start his own business, Tile Guys LLC, and he has been serving the Eastern Shore of Virginia ever since.
