Our Team

Our team is led by Bill Nelson, a 4th generation lifelong resident of Bainbridge Island. With a wealth of experience, Bill brings a deep understanding of the industry and a passion for delivering exceptional results. He stays in close communication with clients throughout each phase of a project, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded. Deb Prouty, our administrator, is the backbone of our team, providing administrative support and ensuring that every project runs smoothly. With over 15 years of experience in administration, Deb is known for her attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

We have extensive experience in commercial construction, with a focus on multi-tenant builds, design-build new construction, remodeling, demolition, and maintenance repairs. Our commercial projects include office buildings, retail spaces, and mixed-use developments. We understand the complex permitting process and prioritize staying on budget and on schedule while delivering the highest quality work.

Eco-Friendly Practices

At Nelson Planning and Construction, we are committed to minimizing our environmental impact during construction. We recycle 100% of our asphalt, concrete, wood waste, metal, and cardboard materials. We also store or donate 100% of our reusable surplus materials. Additionally, we participate in the Bainbridge Island Rotary Auction, donating reusable materials and promoting waste prevention and reduction strategies.
