Our History

Our story began when Eric Isachsen, a shop teacher, and his wife Kit, along with fellow teacher Roger Daby, decided to leave their teaching careers behind and establish a construction business. They moved to Brant Lake in 1972, bringing with them their extensive background in construction and business practices. It wasn't long before Eric & Eric, Inc. became one of the leading homebuilders in the region.

After Roger Daby left the partnership in 1979 to take over ownership of the local general store, the Isachsen's decided to keep the name Eric & Eric, as it had already gained a strong reputation in the community. Over the years, Eric's three brothers have worked for him periodically, and his son-in-law, Don Studler, joined the company as a manager in 1993. Studler became a Certified Graduate Builder through the National Association of Home Builders, the highest certification given by the organization.
