Our Story
The Wood family's history in North America dates back to the late 1700s when they emigrated from Berwickshire, Scotland. In the late 1800s, Harry Roy Wood began moving people from coast to coast in motor trucks out of Arlington, MA. Meanwhile, Rufus and "Burpee" Burt Wood started Wood Bros. Moving & Storage in Portsmouth, New Hampshire in 1888. The business has since been passed down through generations, with Mark Harrington purchasing the company in 2007. Today, we continue to provide top-notch moving and storage services to our customers.
