A Home and Garden Handyman LLC is a state of Connecticut registered home improvement contractor, HIC 0649283, specializing in a wide range of home maintenance and improvement services. Our services are not limited to what is listed on our website, so if you have specific requests, feel free to ask. We primarily serve the Killingworth, Madison, Higganum, Durham, Middlefield, Middletown, and Wallingford areas, but we are open to traveling to other locations.

Our founder, Mike Turecek, has extensive experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and maintenance. He worked in the corporate world for 24 years, most recently in technical support customer service at a large wireless provider. However, his passion for working with wood and tools began long before that, as he grew up whittling and learning home maintenance skills from his father and grandfather. Over the past twenty years, Mike has honed his craft by working on his own homes, as well as helping friends and family with their maintenance needs.
