Our History

It all began back in 1985 when Great Lakes Roofing was formed as a subdivision of Frank Taylor Lumber and Development. It was based out of Straits Building Center in St. Ignace, MI. Craig Miller and Kevin Kenney, co-founders of Great Lakes Roofing and Insulation Systems, have been instrumental in the company's growth and success. With a combined experience of over 90 years in the construction industry, they have guided the company through various transformations and innovations.
