Our History

Woodworks Tree Service, LLC was founded in 2013 by ISA certified arborist, Michael Powell. Michael's passion for trees and environmentally friendly practices began during his time as a wildland firefighter with the National Park Service in California. After working several more years in the tree service industry, Michael decided it was time to grow his company, driven by his personal philosophy of sustainable and environmentally-friendly practices. Today, Woodworks Tree Service, LLC is proud to be a part of the talented and bright Hudson Valley community.

Our Team

Our team is led by Michael Powell, a certified arborist and expert in tree care. Michael is a lifelong rock climber and outdoor enthusiast who received his Bachelor of Science in Geography from Appalachian State University. He is also a registered Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Wilderness First Responder (WFR). Our team is dedicated to providing you with the highest quality services and expert advice to keep your trees healthy and thriving.
