Our Story

Empire Construction and Engineering was founded by Rodney Sichel, president, and CEO, in 1993 as Empire Asphalt. Over the years, we have expanded our services to include general construction and specialty engineering, earning a reputation as an industry leader in the construction and paving business. Our name change from Empire Asphalt to Empire Construction & Engineering reflects our growth and expansion into new areas of expertise.
