Our Story

At Arrow Exterminators, Inc., we have been dedicated to providing exceptional pest control services to the Greensboro area since 1946. Our story began with founder Dave Goforth Sr. and his wife Marjorie, who had a passion for entomology. Dave's interest in insects began during World War II, where he worked in the Medical Detachment Unit researching mosquitoes and the malaria epidemic affecting his fellow servicemen. After the war, Dave set up shop in Greensboro, combatting the local pest population. With a flair for creativity and humor, our service vehicles were hand-painted like ladybugs, earning us the nickname "The Famous Lady Bug Service". As the business grew, Dave went on to become a founder of the North Carolina Pest Control Association and served as its first President in 1952.
