Our journey began when Buster Ellis founded Ellis Moving and Storage in Nashville in 1918. As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) by trade and a mover by passion, Mr. Ellis was driven to provide unparalleled moving and storage services to the community. In 1958, Robert Johnson, a CPA and entrepreneur, alongside his mother, Nannie Lee, purchased the company from Mr. Ellis. Under Mr. Johnson's leadership, the company experienced significant growth over the next several decades. To accommodate the company's growing business, a new facility was built in 1997. Since then, we have continued to expand our services to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
