Our History

In the early 1950s, John Knez Sr. started working with his brother Lawrence on building houses. This side job led him to work for Fred Alt, a building material supplier and manager of A. McMillan & Co. Founded in 1902, the company initially focused on hauling sacks of plaster. Over the years, we've expanded our offerings to include a wide range of building materials, insulation solutions, and services designed to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
