Our team has been working in the industry for over three decades, and our parent company, Bourget Design & Millwork, has been furnishing complete millwork packages for custom homes in Aspen, CO, and Vail, CO, for over 20 years. The Frame

Our signature pocket door frame is designed with several unique features that set it apart from the competition. These include cope and stick joints with dowels, pre-installed floor guides, premium track and rollers, and engineered stiles. These components come together to create an extremely strong and precise frame that is both easy to install and durable.

Our cope and stick joints are reinforced with dowels, ensuring that the frame walls remain rigid and can securely hold nails or screws through drywall. The pre-installed floor guide is concealed and held 1/16 behind the door stop, ensuring that the door never jumps out of alignment. The premium track and rollers we use are Italian-made and preinstalled, guaranteeing a smooth and effortless opening and closing experience.

Our engineered stiles are made from multiple planks of solid Alder, bonded together to prevent twisting, expansion, and contraction. This ensures that the margins between the door and the frame are always perfectly aligned, even when the door is closed.

The Door

In addition to our pocket door frames, we also craft beautiful doors in various species and styles. Some of the materials we work with include Rustic Ash, Reclaimed Hemlock, CVG Doug Fir, Quarter-Sawn White Oak, Knotty Pine, Beetle Kill Blue Stain Pine, and more. We offer a wide range of options to ensure that our clients can find the perfect door to match their unique style and needs.

The Hardware

We understand the importance of high-quality sliding door hardware, which is why we only use the best products available. Our standard hardware set is the Hafele Slido Classic 80-P, which supports doors up to 176 pounds. However, we also offer Hawa Jr 80Z hardware for clients who want the absolute best. Hawa is built in Austria and is known for its strength, silence, and superior engineering. It supports doors up to 264 pounds and offers an unparalleled sliding experience.
