Our Story

Our story began in 2008, when our founder, Andy Haak, started Insulwise with the goal of providing homeowners in the Pittsburgh area with a modern, building-science based option for addressing their home's insulation and duct sealing needs. As a business graduate from Penn State, Andy knew that offering homeowners a superior value for their money would be key to the company's success.

Our Methodology

At Insulwise, we don't hire subcontractors to perform the insulation work that we do. Instead, we hire and train our own employees in-house, so that everyone understands when, where, and how to apply the industry-best solutions that we use in the homes we work in.
