At Amarillo Power Gate, we have been serving the Amarillo, Texas area since 1989. Founded by Don Oliver, our company has been providing automated gate installations and repairs to the Texas Panhandle and surrounding areas for over three decades. In 2016, David Smith and his son Levin Smith took over the operation and ownership of Amarillo Power Gate, ensuring that our commitment to customer satisfaction remains unwavering.

Meet the Team

Our experienced team knows a thing or two about gates! David Smith, our owner and operator, started an apprenticeship in the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) in 1979. He became a licensed electrician after four years of intensive training and on-the-job education. With over 40 years of experience in the trade, David has learned the importance of providing prompt and efficient service to our customers.

Levin Smith, David's son, joined the company in 2014/15 and has been learning the gate business from the best. With a keen eye for problem-solving and excellent computer skills, Levin is capable of finding solutions to even the most complex issues.
