We now boast a comprehensive inventory encompassing everything from essential building materials to specialized tools, expertly crafted cabinets, and a wide array of paints and flooring options.

Mark Hines joined our team in 1984, bringing his own expertise and vision to Wheats Home & Building Center. He spearheaded the growth of the business, overseeing the opening of our second location in 1985 and guiding our ongoing expansion and remodeling efforts. He, along with the team, has consistently worked to refine our product selection and service offerings, ensuring we remain a trusted partner for all your home improvement needs.

We are proud to serve the Poplarville area with two convenient locations. Our first location, situated near Interstate 59, provides easy access for commuters and those traveling from surrounding communities. Our second location, located near the Louisiana state line in the Crossroads community, houses our dedicated Wheat's Cabinet & Design Center, as well as our comprehensive Paint and Flooring Center. This center features an extensive selection of Benjamin Moore paints, renowned for their exceptional quality and durability, ensuring you find the perfect finish for your vision.
