At Ten Oaks, we pride ourselves on being a family-owned business that has been dedicated to producing high-quality hardwood flooring for over a century. Our story began in May of 1922 when four local citizens of Patrick County incorporated Stuart Lumber Company to utilize the vast timber resources in the area. Since then, we have evolved and grown, driven by a passion for innovation and a commitment to excellence. Today, we continue to source 100% of our fine Appalachian hardwood from Verified Sustainable Hardwood Forests, ensuring that our products not only exhibit a tradition of quality but also an eye to the future.

Our revolutionary Six Side Seal technology is a testament to our commitment to innovation. This patented moisture barrier coats each surface of our flooring, including the tongue and groove, immediately after machining. This ensures that the look you choose is the one you'll keep for years to come, offering the most stability, highest quality, and longest lasting value in solid hardwood flooring.

Our products are proudly made in Stuart, Virginia, USA, and our state-of-the-art manufacturing operation is located in the beautiful foothills of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains. History

In 1982, our founder, Buddy, left Masonite Corporation to start his own business venture. He purchased the moth-balled strip flooring operation from Masonite and moved the machinery to a new location. In 1984, he launched Stuart Flooring Corporation with one half of a strip flooring manufacturing line. In 2004, he purchased the T. George Vaughan Furniture from the Vaughan-Bassett Furniture Company building, marking the beginning of Ten Oaks, LLC. Over the years, we have expanded our operations and capabilities, always keeping our focus on producing the best possible products for our customers.
