Our History
Dillard Alarm Company was founded in July of 1976 by Jimmy and Dorothy Dillard. From humble beginnings, Jimmy started out with a single vehicle and ran the small business out of the family room of their home. Jimmy did all aspects of installation and service, while his wife Dorothy answered the phone and typed contracts and bills. Over the years, the company grew, and in 1998, Jimmy's son Troy purchased the company from his father and became the new owner. Under Troy's leadership, Dillard Alarm Company has become the area's local Honeywell and Resideo Authorized Security Dealer and has relocated to its current location at 3100 Lafayette Boulevard in Spotsylvania County.
