Patuxent Architects, founded in 1992, is a licensed professional architecture firm specializing in design and construction management services for a wide variety of clients; including military, industrial, commercial, public, religious, historic preservation, and private residential projects. Our Services

We have the knowledge and expertise to provide professional services for a wide variety of projects. Our services have varied from just a few hours of consulting time to complete designs for projects with large construction costs. Not only are we experts in design and construction management, but we are experienced in feasibility studies, building and zoning code review and compliance, life safety evaluation, coordination and organization of professional consulting engineers, cost analysis, and project management. We are also experienced in coordinating and integrating civil, structural, mechanical, and architectural elements to provide a complete engineering and architectural package.

Patuxent Architects uses the latest in BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology to communicate ideas and information from the preliminary design phase through the construction document phase and completion of a project. With over 28 plus years of experience in the design and construction field, Patuxent Architects has the ability to ensure that projects conform with client's requirements and meet the latest in building and standards. In addition, our background allows us to develop a project from conception through construction, with a constant eye on cost and quality control, ensuring project costs remain within budget constraints.

We achieve this through recruitment and retention of excellent staff, and through commitment to project and service quality, good business practice, and innovation.

At your request, our Architect will meet with you to discuss your wants, need, plans, and visions, and evaluate your property's current situation. Patuxent Architects will prepare a fee proposal for your project based on the architect's understanding of your project program. Once the proposal is accepted, signed, and returned, along with the required down payment, the architect will begin work on your project.
