Our History

Doug Butler, the owner, began his career as a plumber in Hilton Head after graduating from high school in 1974. He worked for several years before deciding to start his own business. With a used Toyota truck and homemade toolboxes, Doug started Butler's Plumbing Service. Through hard work and dedication, the company grew, and Doug was able to hire employees, establish a shop on the island, and acquire the necessary equipment to tackle any job.
