Questions
Do natural stone countertops have imperfections?
Natural stone may show fissures and pits, which are normal characteristics. These features do not affect durability or qualify for replacement.
How are countertop gaps handled during installation?
Small gaps between countertops and walls are normal due to wall irregularities. We cannot scribe countertops to follow uneven lines.
What support is needed for countertop overhangs?
Unsupported overhangs cannot exceed one third of the supported slab. Brackets or corbels can be installed for additional support.
How long does countertop installation take?
Allow several weeks cushion time for potential delays. We prioritize remaking slabs if damage occurs during fabrication or delivery.
Can existing cabinets support granite countertops?
Most cabinets handle granite weight, but we cannot assess strength beforehand. Homeowners must repair cabinets to industry standards if issues arise.
What about color variations in natural stone?
Natural stone varies in color and pattern. Your selection will closely match samples, but slight differences are expected due to lippage.
