Our Story

The story of Mr. J's Handyman Services began in 1994, when our founder, Michael Johansen, joined job corps to learn carpentry. He went on to build roofing structures for commercial warehouses, installed vinyl windows and siding for companies, and even worked as a plumber apprentice in Texas. After years of experience in the construction industry, Michael returned to the Pacific Northwest, where he continued to work on various projects, including remodeling apartments and supervising renovations for local long-term care facilities. Today, Michael is dedicated to helping homeowners like you achieve their dream home through Mr. J's Handyman Services.
