At fresch architects, we believe that the architectural process is a collaborative effort between the owner, end-users, architect, engineers, and contractor. Our mission is to provide client-focused service through thoughtful design. With over 30 years of combined experience, our partners Sheldon Schroeder, AIA, and Emma Nicole Freeman, AIA, D.Arch, LEED AP, have developed a unique approach to architecture that is rooted in the client's project needs and budget constraints.

As a firm based in Corpus Christi, Texas, we have the privilege of serving clients across various sectors, including commercial, educational, health care, institutional, retail, civic, and residential architecture. We understand that each project is unique and approach each one without preconceived notions. Our team takes the time to understand the client's vision, needs, and budget to deliver a tailored solution.

At the heart of our design process is a commitment to creativity, efficiency, and sustainability. We believe that good design addresses a project's challenges honestly, efficiently, and creatively. Our team is well-versed in various design tools, including building information modeling (BIM) software, which enables us to quickly and efficiently develop design concepts responsive to the client's program.

Our diverse project experience has prepared us for any challenge. Sheldon has managed projects in Texas, Kansas, Hawaii, Nicaragua, and Antarctica, while Emma has worked on projects in Texas, Hawaii, Antarctica, and Central America. This wealth of experience has given us a unique perspective on the importance of collaboration and communication in the design process.

Sheldon Schroeder, AIA, Principal

With nearly 20 years of practice along the Texas coast, Sheldon brings a deep understanding of the regional culture and climate to his design philosophy. He believes that good design addresses a project's challenges honestly, efficiently, and creatively.

Emma Nicole Freeman, AIA, D.Arch, LEED AP, Principal

Emma's extensive experience in sustainable architecture, passive cooling systems, and building systems for ultra-remote sites has made her an expert in her field. Her passion for craft and attention to detail have earned her a reputation as a skilled architect.

Zach Murphy, Production Manager

Zach's architectural drafting background and technical skills make him an asset to our team. His creative approach to design and problem-solving has been a valuable addition to our projects.

Zahra Fattahi, AIA, Assoc., M.ARCH, Design Professional

Zahra's recent master's degree in Architecture from Louisiana State University has equipped her with a strong foundation in sustainable design and community engagement. Her research experience and collaboration skills have already made her a valuable member of our team.
