Our Story
Founded in 2000, Peninsula Paving, Inc. was formed by combining experience and skill into a company that would earn a reputation as an honest, responsive, quality-driven asphalt paving company. We have always operated with a quality foundation of unwavering ethics, workplace safety, and quality workmanship. Our founders, Andrea Lerner and Danny Johnson, brought a combined total of over 60 years of experience in the heavy construction industry to the company. Today, we are proud to be a woman-owned, SWAM-certified business with VDOT certification.
Our Team
Meet our co-owners and founders, Andrea Lerner and Danny Johnson. Andrea holds a B.S. in Construction Management from East Carolina University and has been actively involved in HRUHCA (Hampton Road Utility and Heavy Contractors Association) for many years. Danny holds a B.S. in Resource Management from West Virginia University and has served as President of HRUHCA. Together, they bring a wealth of experience and expertise to every project we undertake.
