About Kevin Massie, Founder
My passion for building and working outdoors led me to pursue a degree in civil engineering from Virginia Tech. Early in my career, I honed my skills working on municipal water and sewer systems. However, a longing for hands-on work and the satisfaction of seeing projects come to life eventually led me back to the construction industry.
My journey took me across the globe, working on projects in both Alabama and South Sudan. These experiences honed my skills in project management, resourcefulness, and dealing with challenging conditions. It solidified my belief that quality craftsmanship and attention to detail are paramount in creating lasting projects.
In 2017, I founded Blue Fox Carpentry to provide quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service to homeowners in the New River Valley. My goal is to build strong relationships with my clients, understand their vision, and deliver results that surpass expectations.
