Our Story

Our journey began with Brian Chapman, who first started as a part-time plasterer/painter while attending UW-Platteville. He continued to work in the industry throughout his college years and eventually started his first painting company, Chapman's Painting Service, in 2002. After operating this business for nine years, Brian moved back to Platteville, where he started Straightway Painting & Plastering, Inc. in 2011. With years of experience and a passion for painting, we have built a reputation for delivering high-quality services to residential and commercial clients alike.
