Our History

Rooters American Maintenance, Inc., established in 1987 by Larry and Donna Root, evolved through the years to become the renowned Rooters Asphalt. For over two decades, the family business thrived under their guidance. In 2013, the reins were passed to their son, John Garcia, and his wife, Jill, who brought their own dedication and expertise to the company. John, having been actively involved in the business for 24 years, remains a driving force as an operator and superintendent.

Initially, Rooters Asphalt focused its services on asphalt maintenance, a specialization that continues to be a cornerstone of the company's offerings. Crack filling and sealing remain essential parts of their portfolio, safeguarding asphalt surfaces from the damaging effects of water, weather, and wear. However, the company's vision extended beyond preventive measures, leading to its diversification into asphalt paving in 1996.
