Pro-Tek Services of Central Florida, Inc. was founded by Tim and Darla Lightner in 1989. With over 100 years of combined experience in the pest control industry, our team has developed a reputation for providing exceptional service, competitive pricing, and superior customer service.

Our Story

Tim's first job out of high school was with a pest control company, and he has been in the industry ever since. After working for other companies as a technician, sales rep, and manager for 13 years, Tim and Darla decided to branch out on their own to create a better future for themselves and their two daughters. Throughout those 13 years, Tim and Darla learned a lot about the pest control and termite industry. They took notice of the growing need for soil pre-treatments with the constant new construction going on in Florida. They both recognized the need for this service and wanted to be a part of that growth.

Pre-Treatment Services: Our pre-construction soil and wood termite treatments are designed to protect new constructions from termite damage.
Pest Control: Our professional and experienced technicians will customize a pest control plan to fit your needs, ensuring your property stays pest-free year-round.
Termite Control: In Florida, termites cause more damage to structures than fires, floods, and storms combined. Our licensed professionals will provide a thorough inspection and treatment to ensure your property is protected.

Our Promise

Our job is not done until your pests are gone. We will return if they do, offering you a full protection plan. We offer termite, rodent, and numerous pest control preventative and elimination services. Our technicians are not paid a sales commission, so we will never "bug" you about a service you don't need! Plus, our quarterly Perimeter Pest Program doesn't even require you to be home!
