Our Story
At Dominion Lock & Security, we've been committed to providing safety, security, and quality to businesses and homes for over 44 years. Our story began in 1975, when Johnny Tucker decided to open a local, family-oriented locksmith business in Mechanicsville, Virginia. Under the name Mechanicsville Lock and Key, the business was successful and grew in the local area. Two years later, his son Al joined the business, and Dominion Lock & Security expanded to help homeowners, businesses, and corporations in the greater Richmond area.
