Customers were often bombarded with overwhelming choices, inadequate customer service, and a lack of clear communication.

Recognizing this gap, Ground FX Flooring set out to revolutionize the industry. In 2012, we introduced Southern Illinois to the groundbreaking concept of a "shop-at-home" flooring experience - the first-ever Mobile Design Center in the Midwest. Our 29-foot showroom, fully equipped with an impressive array of over 2,000 flooring samples, could be brought directly to a client's doorstep. This innovative approach allowed customers to compare samples in the exact space where they intended to install their new flooring, eliminating guesswork and facilitating a more informed decision. Our commitment to convenience and personalization quickly resonated with customers, propelling Ground FX Flooring's growth and establishing us as a trusted name.

Fueled by our success and a desire to expand our offerings, Ground FX Flooring ventured into the world of epoxy coatings. Partnering with CTM Coatings, the industry's leading manufacturer, we became the fourth CTM Distribution Hub in the United States, serving coating installers throughout the Midwest. Today, Ground FX operates from a spacious 20,000 square foot facility, stocking a comprehensive selection of epoxies, concrete coating and polishing systems, equipment, sundries, and supplies.

As a territory distributor for renowned brands such as Maverick Surface Preparations, Metabo, ASL, EZ Polish, Surecrete, Torginol, EZ Chem, and Ballistix, we have truly become a one-stop shop for all flooring and epoxy coating needs.

A seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the flooring industry, Mark's passion for providing exceptional service is evident in every aspect of Ground FX. Starting his journey at the age of 16 as a warehouse worker in a local carpet store, Mark quickly rose through the ranks, honing his skills as a flooring contractor. The birth of his triplets ignited a strong desire to provide for his family and build a legacy. In 2012, with the unwavering support of his wife, he brought Ground FX Flooring to life.

Today, Ground FX is a testament to Mark's vision, hard work, and dedication.

Meet Stephanie Novoa, Mark's wife and partner, the driving force behind Ground FX's smooth operations:

Stephanie's involvement with Ground FX came naturally after the birth of their triplets. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for customer service, she manages the Accounts Payable/Receivable, customer service, and office administration, ensuring seamless operations. When she isn't behind the scenes, Stephanie readily helps customers on the showroom floor, utilizing her knack for color matching and design to guide them towards the perfect flooring options.
