Since our inception, we have focused on the quality custom building of homes and commercial projects. This includes new construction, remodeling, and simple home maintenance. Michael, Jim, and Erling are the core of our team. Michael brings a wealth of experience in project management, ensuring that every project runs smoothly. Jim, with his background in construction and horse riding, brings a unique perspective and a strong work ethic. Erling, with his passion for trigonometry and problem-solving, is the driving force behind our attention to detail and innovative approach to construction. Together, they have seen just about every possible configuration and can handle any challenge an architect throws at them.

A Legacy of Quality

Erling Pohls' grandfather, Hans C.D. Skytt, was one of the original Danish settlers in 1911 and built many of the structures in Solvang. Erling's father, Holger Pohls, worked as a carpenter for Hans and later started his own contracting business. Erling took over the business after his father retired, continuing the family tradition of quality construction. Today, Elliott & Pohls Construction is proud to carry on this legacy of quality and integrity.
