Our History

Church Creative Flooring is a company that has been built on family, tradition, and a passion for beautiful floors. It all began in the late 1940s when John Church Sr. opened a small flooring and furniture store in Geneva, New York. Driven by a commitment to quality and customer service, his store thrived, eventually leading him to expand his vision to Penn Yan in the early 1990s. The Penn Yan location soon became a part of the fabric of the community, welcoming generations of families looking to enhance their living spaces.

The newest chapter in our story began in 2002 when John Church Sr.'s grandson, Michael Westfall, took over the reins, transitioning the store to a family-owned and operated business. Joining him was his wife, Dee, who, along with Michael, has dedicated themselves to upholding the legacy of quality and customer care that John Church Sr. established.

In their pursuit of excellence, Michael and Dee recognized the need for a space that not only showcased their extensive product offerings but also inspired customers with design possibilities. They recently made the move to a stunning new showroom at Keuka Business Park in Penn Yan, creating a destination where clients can experience firsthand the beauty and craftsmanship of Church Creative Flooring.
