Questions
How long does the cabinet installation process take?
Installation timing depends on manufacturer lead times, which vary by production schedules. We coordinate delivery and installation once cabinets arrive, typically requiring 1-2 days for standard projects.
What's the difference between framed and frameless cabinets?
Framed cabinets feature a visible border around door openings for traditional aesthetics, while frameless designs offer seamless contemporary appearance with maximum interior access.
Are plywood cabinets better than particleboard options?
Both materials have merits. Particleboard offers 10-20% cost savings with comparable durability when properly constructed, while plywood provides traditional wood construction benefits at higher expense.
What wood species options are available?
We offer maple, oak, cherry, alder, hickory, and quarter-sawn red oak with various grain patterns and finish options to match different design preferences and durability requirements.
How does humidity affect cabinetry in Florida's climate?
Wood products expand and contract with humidity changes. We recommend maintaining 35-45% humidity levels and using climate control in vacation homes to prevent dimensional instability issues.
