With our beginnings in the home builder and remodeling market, we have expanded our services to include both residential and small commercial projects. Our Story

Shawn Hinckley, the founder of Hinckley Construction, has a diverse background in construction. Originally from Lockhart, Texas, Shawn served in the U.S. Army as an equipment mechanic and later specialized in heavy equipment. He later transitioned his skills to construction, where he has been providing residential and commercial construction services in the Austin area for over 20 years. With a strong foundation in residential remodeling, framing, trim carpentry, and installing and finishing hardwood floors, Shawn's expertise has expanded to include new and remodeled residential and light commercial projects. His experience in commercial projects includes restaurants, offices, warehouses, and tenant finish outs.
