Dan Larsen, the founder, has a passion for classic homes, recognizing that their distinctive detailing and character are what make them truly special. His love of older homes started in 1978 when he apprenticed for a firm in San Francisco restoring Victorian homes. This experience led him to found Larsen Builders in 1985 with his wife Susan, who has been the business manager since its inception.

Over the years, we have developed a reputation for excellence, earning numerous awards including being named Best in America Remodeling by PB&R, Contractor of the Year for Kitchens and Baths by N.A.R.I., and International Contractor of the Year by I.R.C.A. Our team is comprised of skilled professionals who share a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Susan Larsen, co-owner and business manager, has been instrumental in the success of Larsen Builders. Dale delaTorre, one of our top foremen, has been with us for over 25 years, bringing a wealth of experience to every project. Patrick Larsen, Andrew Larsen, and Avilio Chun Marin are also key members of our team, each contributing their expertise in various aspects of construction.
