Our Story

Pend Oreille Mechanical was founded in Sandpoint Idaho in 2001 by the Dishong family. In 2022, long-time employee and manager Nick Higgs and his partner Sammy Jo Pitts were able to purchase the business and continue its legacy of quality service and craftsmanship installs for new construction. Both Nick and Sammy Jo are Sandpoint natives who are passionate about supporting their community through quality service and creating lifetime career opportunities for their hard-working employees.
