Our Story

The Original Jim's Tree Service has been serving the Northampton County, Lehigh County in Pennsylvania, and Warren, Morris, Sussex, and Hunterdon Counties in New Jersey for over 33 years. Our business was founded by Jim and Karen Goucher in 1986, after they completed high school. With a strong passion for providing professional, reliable, and quality work, we have built a reputation for being the go-to tree care and removal service in the region.

Our Equipment

We employ state-of-the-art equipment to ensure that our services are performed efficiently and effectively. Our fleet includes a Ford F-750 65-foot bucket truck with a rear-mounted aerial lift, weighing only 23,000 pounds. This allows us to access areas that other tree companies may not be able to reach. Additionally, we utilize a RG50 HP Diesel self-propelled stump grinder, which can fit through a 36-inch gate, and a Gehl articulating front loader, to pick up large pieces of wood and stump grindings.
