At Gary Christman Excavating, LLC, we pride ourselves on our commitment to providing top-quality excavation, landscaping, and sewer/septic services to our clients in Douglas, Washburn, and Burnett counties in NW Wisconsin. Our team, led by Gary Christman, has been dedicated to building a reputation of excellence, reliability, and customer satisfaction since our establishment in 1998.

Our journey began with certified soil testing (perk tests) for septic systems in the State of Wisconsin. Over the years, we have continually expanded our services to meet the growing needs of our clients. Gary pursued his plumbing license, successfully completing his Restricted Service Plumbing Apprenticeship in 2005. This enabled us to design, install, and repair septic systems, offering a comprehensive solution to our clients' septic needs.

In addition to our septic services, we also provide sewer thawing in the winter for frozen septic lines and septic tanks. Our arsenal of equipment includes a roto rooter and camera with a locator, allowing us to offer a better repair service for septic problems that arise. Furthermore, we carry sewer pumps and switches for older systems that may need upgrading.

In 2011, we further expanded our capabilities by acquiring Christman Brothers excavation. This acquisition included two dump trucks, trailers, a dozer, excavator, and front end loader, as well as a screener to screen black dirt. This addition has enabled us to provide a full-service excavation business, catering to a wide range of client needs.
