Our Story

Our journey began with Adolphus Mayes, our founder, who had over 55 years of experience in mechanical insulation installation. He started as a field apprentice in 1954 and went on to become a journeyman and field superintendent. In 1984, he was able to purchase the Knoxville office branch, shaping the company into what it is today. His commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction has been the driving force behind our success.

Our Team

Our team consists of experienced professionals with a deep understanding of the mechanical insulation industry. Our staff includes:

• Doug Mayes, President and Senior Estimator/Project Manager, with over 44 years of experience
• Benjamin Mayes, Vice President, with over 25 years of field insulation installation experience
• Albert Sumar, Estimator/Project Manager/Quality Control, with over 14 years of construction estimating experience
• R. Scott Smith, Field Superintendent, with over 33 years of experience in mechanical insulation installation
• Mikey Rogers, Sales Manager, with field installation experience and knowledge of our products
