Our History

Gary Christopher, the founder of Gary Air, moved to Sarasota in 1983 after completing his degree from Niagara Community College. He worked for several local air conditioning contractors in the area for ten years before founding Gary Air in 1995 alongside his wife. With his commitment to integrity and customer satisfaction, Gary has built a reputation for delivering outstanding service to his customers.

Our Team

Our General Manager, Bob Thurber, has been an integral part of Gary Air since its inception in 1995. With his excellent customer service and "service with a smile" attitude, Bob has been instrumental in helping the company thrive. His extensive field experience has enabled him to evaluate what is in the best interest of the customer when purchasing a new indoor comfort system. Bob is also actively involved in various charitable organizations, including "Mothers Helping Mothers, " "American Cancer Society, " and "Habitat for Humanity."
