Sasaki+Spade Architects

Sasaki + Spade Architects was founded in 2003 by the husband and wife team of William R. Spade and C. Keiko Sasaki-Spade. Our design solutions strive for a harmonious and energetic balance between the aesthetic and functional, while maintaining the special character and ambiance of the setting. The work aspires to provide a place for strengthening human relationships, as well as the connecting the physical and spiritual dimensions. We also endeavor to apply the latest technologies in energy-conscious & sustainable design, including being trained in the low-energy Passive House design and construction method, which seeks to reduce the energy use of a building by 75% or more.
