Services
Custom Shutters
Our custom plantation shutters combine classic elegance with tropical durability. Crafted from wood or composite materials, these shutters provide superior insulation against Hawaii's heat while offering adjustable light control. The waterproof composite option resists warping and fading, making it ideal for coastal environments. Each installation includes professional measurement and fitting to ensure perfect alignment with your windows.
Solar Shades
Solar shades protect lanais and outdoor spaces from intense UV rays while maintaining ocean views. Our commercial-grade systems use tight-weave fabrics that block up to 90% of solar heat gain. Motorized options with rechargeable batteries allow effortless operation for hard-to-reach areas. These durable shades withstand Kauai's trade winds and salt air, extending the life of outdoor furniture and flooring.
Cellular Shades
Energy-efficient cellular shades feature insulating air pockets that reduce heat transfer through windows. Available in single and double-cell configurations, these shades lower cooling costs by up to 45% during summer months. The pleated design complements both modern and traditional interiors, with opacity options ranging from sheer to blackout for complete light control.
Drapery Design
Handcrafted drapery solutions add texture and sophistication to any space. We offer designer fabrics with UV protection properties that prevent furniture fading. Our artisans create custom panels with reinforced linings and bottom weights for perfect draping. Coordination options include matching valences, cornice boxes, and decorative trims that tie room elements together.
Motorized Blinds
Motorized window treatments integrate with home automation systems for convenient control. Battery-powered options eliminate electrical wiring needs, perfect for historic homes or rental properties. Remote operation via smartphone apps or voice commands simplifies management of multiple windows, particularly beneficial for commercial spaces with large glass areas.

Questions
What window treatments work best for Hawaii's climate?
Our top recommendations include plantation shutters for durability, solar shades for UV protection, and moisture-resistant cellular shades. These options withstand humidity while improving energy efficiency.
Do you offer motorized window treatment options?
Yes, we install motorized systems compatible with smart home platforms. Battery-powered motors require no electrical wiring and work perfectly for Kauai's older homes and condos.
Can you help with commercial window treatments?
We specialize in commercial solutions for restaurants, hotels, and offices. Our products include durable solar shades for lanais, noise-reducing cellular shades, and coordinated drapery systems for event spaces.
How do window treatments improve energy efficiency?
Properly installed treatments can reduce heat gain by up to 45%. Cellular shades trap insulating air, solar shades block UV rays, and shutters reflect heat. Combining these options lowers cooling costs year-round.
Do you provide free consultations?
Yes, we offer complimentary in-home consultations. Our team will assess your space, discuss design preferences, and recommend solutions tailored to your specific light control and privacy needs.
