About Bluestone

Bluestone is a natural, metamorphic rock that is quarried in Pennsylvania. The stone is known for its distinctive blue-gray color, although it can also appear in other hues such as brown, green, rust, and lilac. The stone is composed of feldspar, sand, and mica, and is free from most organic residues. Bluestone is highly valued for its durability and beauty, making it an excellent choice for both exterior and interior applications.

Our Process

Our process begins with quarrying the highest-quality bluestone blocks, which are then sawn into cubes. These cubes are then cut into squares and rectangles of various sizes. We offer a range of sizes to accommodate different needs, from 12" x 12" to 24" x 36". Our thermal and natural cleft flagstones come in different patterns and colors to provide clients with the flexibility to choose the perfect stone for their project.

Installation

Our bluestone can be installed over a cement slab or dry-set in sand. For added traction, we recommend installing our thermal stone, which has been thermaled with heat to provide a non-slip surface. Our stone is also cut to precise specifications to ensure easy installation.
