W&M Contracting, LLC is a general contractor with a rich history of delivering exceptional results in the construction industry. Incorporated in the State of Maryland in 1976 as Maizel Construction Inc., we have been serving clients in the Greater Washington, DC area for over four decades. Our team has built a reputation for providing top-notch services in tenant improvements, historic building rehabilitation, and ground-up constructions. We take pride in our ability to deliver projects on time, on budget, and with exceptional quality.

Our Story

Our story began with Marvin Maizel, the original founder, who spent nearly 40 years serving clients and getting the job done the right way the first time. His eldest son, Michael Maizel, joined the business and together with Michael Watson, they continue to carry on the legacy started by Marvin. We have a deep sense of community and are proud members of the DCBIA and AIA. We also actively participate in various local charities, including Adopt a Road in Montgomery County and Christmas in April.

• Tenant Improvements & Representation: We perform tenant improvements and representation services that help transform rental retail spaces into something that functions for specific needs while working with landlords to make sure all changes are beneficial to both parties.
• Additional Construction Services: In addition to the above services, we also offer ground-up construction, historic building restoration & rehabilitation, and multifamily building construction.
