Company History

Steeler was founded in 1974 by Matt Surowiecki Sr., a highly successful owner and salesman who saw a niche in the construction industry that was just beginning to develop; cold-formed steel framing. Today, Steeler, Inc. is the oldest consecutively operating steel stud manufacturer in the United States.
