A Bit of History

Our journey began in the late 1970s, where our founder, John Ortiz, started working for a design and build firm in the Hudson Valley. John honed his skills by working on a diverse range of projects, from new custom homes and additions to brownstones and loft conversions in NYC. As John's experience grew, so did his passion for creating spaces that inspire. He eventually relocated to Colorado, where he worked on residential and commercial projects throughout the Rocky Mountain region. After accumulating a wealth of knowledge and expertise, John returned to the East Coast, where he founded TON Custom Cabinets.
